Assign, communicate, and monitor work group production assignments for timely and accurate completion to ensure daily and weekly work group goals and objectives are met (team outputs). Communicate plant, production, and quality performance to teams. Participate in routine team meetings to manage and communicate progress toward goals, audit results, and potential barriers to success. Cascade expectations and goals to employees. Ensure employee and workstation readiness. Maintain appropriate workstation supply levels. Work with PC in loading shop floor and controlling movement of work in process to eliminate bottlenecks. Monitor and facilitate order schedules between production areas. Monitor material availability and supplies within area and communicate issue to appropriate people. Provide informal employee performance feedback to team members and supervisor, and work with supervisor to correct poor performance regarding production, quality, team work, and 5S issues. Actively involved in the overall improvement of the process. Assist in researching new technology and assist in implementing it into the respective area(s). Identify problems and opportunities. Identify root cause and implement solutions. Escalate problems and communicate with other production and/or areas or management as appropriate. | ||||
